About Swara Hindustani Classical Music School

Established in 2018, Swara Hindustani Classical Music School is a dedicated center for nurturing traditional Indian art forms. Located in J.P. Nagar, Bengaluru, the school offers comprehensive training in Hindustani Classical Vocal music, the heart of its curriculum. Alongside vocal music, students are also trained in Tabla, Flute, and Harmonium—essential instruments of Indian classical tradition.

Swara also embraces India’s rich cultural diversity by offering instruction in Carnatic music and traditional Indian drawing styles, encouraging a holistic appreciation of classical arts.

The school is founded and led by Mrs. Koushalya Bhat, a devoted disciple of Mrs. Geetha Hegde of the esteemed Sapthak Organisation. With a deep passion for music and education, Mrs. Bhat continues to uphold the values and rigor of her lineage, shaping the next generation of classical artists.
